2004 marked the 25th Anniversary of the Mercury Old Boys’ Association. It also was
the first year that HMS Gannet was opened to the public in Chatham Royal Dockyard.
To celebrate, a full weekend reunion was arranged with two local hotels block booked.
In the region of 200 Mercury Old Boys, partners, friends and guests attended making
the weekend thoroughly enjoyable.
As well as the AGM on Saturday morning, the weekend
included two evening meals, raffle, discotheque and a reception on board HMS Gannet.
The picture below shows most of the Mercury Old Boys on Gannet during the reception.
