A view from the cricket pavilion. Earlier in the century (when CB Fry was an active sportsman) this ground was reportedly one of the best in Hampshire and Charles Hoare (a big cricket fan) entertained famous cricketers who played friendly games on this pitch (see TS Mercury and Cricket). However, land slip had caused undulations to appear by the time the school closed.
