The Mercury Old Boys' Association arranged a private visit to HMS Gannet at the Historic Dockyard, Chatham on the 16th May 2009. The ship was exclusively open to members, families and friends between 2.00 and 4.00pm and we had in the region of 80 attendees. We had access to all areas and there was a buffet reception on board. All agreed that it was an excellent day.
